| Nicole Vagle, one of the Solution Tree Team members will be in Labrador West on Tuesday October 20th and in Labrador East on Wednesday October 21st, to speak on the topic of "Connecting Assessments to PLC's."Labrador City and Goose Bay will have separate shut downs for the in-service, so all teachers can have an opportunity to listen to and interact with Nicole.Nicole Vagle is an international speaker who brings together the concept of assessment and how it is crucial to the complete education of the child. Areas such as "creating reliable assessments", "using assessments effectively", and "moving forward with student assessments" will be covered as well as many individual identified areas. The day should be very inspiring and motivational with teachers leaving with a practical and theoretical application of the link between assessments and student achievement. |
