Donation to the A. P. Low Primary Hushh-Up Committee

February 4th , 2010

Wabush Mines donated $2600 dollars to A. P. Low Primary to help outfit their classrooms with Hushh-Ups. Hushh-Ups are noise reduction aids that attach to the bottom of chairs and desks. They reduce the extraneous noise that occurs because of the scraping of the chairs/desks across the floor. Research has shown that reduced noise levels in the classroom improves overall attention and comprehension of students. The students and staff at A.P. Low Primary would like to extend their gratitude to Wabush Mines for their generous donation!
